Melissa Gira has been writing for the sex nerds of the web since 1999. She took her first paid sex blogging gig in 2002 for the feminist undie purveyors, WACKYJAC, and is now a social media educator and consultant for sex-positive luminaries on the Left Coast (like the world’s only peep show co-op, the US’s first academy for SM instruction, and sex radical activist Scarlot Harlot). In 2004, her personal blog spawned one of the first sex podcasts, cited by CBS as a threat to underage iPods everywhere. Melissa founded Sexerati in December 2005 in order to more efficiently usher in the global Future of Sex.
