A widespread belief in Western countries is that Friday 13th is the day of the devil and brings bad luck. Many people do nothing all day, stay at home, do no transactions, do not get married. The phobia of Friday 13th has got to the point that many skyscrapers have no 13th floor, many hotels – no 13th room, and there is not a car number 13 in Formula 1. Similarly a lot of buildings in Asia have no 4th floor for the number 4 is considered unlucky because the Chinese Translation of the word “four” is homophonous to the word “death”.
